Jeff Brown is a familiar face in the North East, having been a news and sports reporter for both BBC Look North and ITV Tyne Tees for the best part of three decades.
From his first, hand-written report of a table tennis tournament as a teenager, he went on to cover top-class sporting events around the globe - from Champions League football to World title fights and Test matches at Lord’s - meeting many of his heroes and heroines in the process.
As a playwright and podcaster his journey continues, inspired by the major players and colourful characters he has met along the way.
