Jeff Halper: How does Israel get away with it

How is Israel able to sustain a half-century occupation over the Palestinians, a people it violently dispossessed in 1948? Jeff Halper is an American-born anthropologist, author, lecturer, and political activist who has lived in Israel since 1973. He is co-founder and Director of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD).
His new book, War Against the People delves into these questions and provides insight into Israel's disturbing high-tech weaponry military, security & surveillance systems that were tested & perfected on Palestinians.

The book is a timely reminder that fundamental human rights are being compromised & abused by the capitalistic, political & military elite around the world.
