Event description

Description

Every Friday in the Summer Holidays join Jelly Family Art Club where you and your child will be encouraged to explore imaginary worlds and characters through a range of changing art themes.

In this session you will be making cardboard aquariums. You can create hanging fish and coral to decorate your own imarginary underwater world.

This session shall be led by Alabama Hall.

Alabama is one of the original Jelly Tots. All grown up now and with 21 years experience of attending and helping out at Jelly workshops.

She has curated a Summer Workshop programme based on the workshops that she loved as a tot and teenager.

This workshop is suitable for ages 3 to 12 years.

An adult is required to stay for the duration of the workshop and work together to create their artwork.

Please note that this session may be messy. Please bring your own apron and baby wipes. We do not have a toilet within our unit. Public toilets are located a short walk away. We will provide water for hand washing.

Jelly is an energetic charity championing the creative arts. We have played a strategic role in Reading’s cultural life since 1993 – enabling art to appear in unexpected places and creating opportunities for people to look on and join in. We believe in the power of the arts to delight, intrigue, challenge and enrich, and we're committed to forming creative alliances and partnerships that encourage art and cultural life to flourish.
