The Oracle & Readipop Presents Riverbeats
This summer, local music charity Readipop takes over The Oracle for two weeks of creativity, culture and connection. From 5–16 August, Riverbeats will transform the town centre into a vibrant, hub of live music, hands-on workshops, roaming theatre and feel-good fun for all.
With over 40 free sessions including samba parades, sustainable printing, badge-making and more, get ready to experience Reading in a whole new way.

Make, Play, Explore
Get creative with Jelly’s drop-in and bookable workshops, including badge-making, paper flag art, mask decorating and sustainable printing. Little ones (and big kids!) can explore their musical side with junk percussion, ukulele sessions, or the ever-popular Family Jam from Readipop.
And for a truly magical moment, visit the Fables Expansion Tank - a giant, participatory sculpture made from reclaimed materials and imagination.
