Jennifer Reid is a 24 year old Lancashire folk enthusiast and acclaimed 'balladress' who specialises in Manchester Broadsheet Ballads. Listen to Jennifer bring the past to life and learn about Lancashire's working class history through songs of the 19th Century.

Jennifer Reid will be joining us for two days of exceptional singing

Jennifer has performed at the Glasonbury Festival, Manchester International Festival, Sidmouth Folk Week, BBC Radio 2,3 and 6, the BFI Southbank and most recently featured on BBC2's 'The Pubs that Built Britain' presented by the Hairy Bikers.

This event is free, but normal admission charges to the museum apply: Adults £4 Concessions £3 Accompanied Children under 16.
