Historian Johnathan Bull takes us on a circular walk around the St Clement route of the Eastern Railway, calling at Samarès Station, Pontorson Halt and Le Hocq Station.

Learn about the Eastern Railways conception in 1873 and demise in 1929. Follow the route to the Le Hocq bridge and cutting (Le Don Le Quesne), with Pontac in the distance, and return to the start point at St Clement's Parish Hall.

A walk of 2 miles. Moderate grade, please wear appropriate footwear for a pebbly beach.

Supported by The Jersey Community Foundation with funds from the Channel Islands Lottery.
