All welcome to join us for our annual International Women's Day Breakfast event on Friday 6th March. Interesting speakers celebrating International Women's Day theme for 2020 #EachforEqual. We will also be presenting our Inspirational Women of the Year Award. Jersey Women's Refuge

Is it estimated now that 1 in 3 women will suffer from domestic abuse at some point in their lifetime.

Jersey Women's Refuge (JWR) offers free, independent, confidential, practical assistance and advice to all women and children exposed to abuse.  We offer a friendly, welcoming, impartial service ensuring our clients feel comfortable stepping through our door.  We hold fundamental principle that all women experiencing abuse will not be denied our service due to financial circumstances, housing status or nationality.

JWR Services:

  • 24/7 Helpline

  • Safe and secure accommodation

  • Advocacy and Outreach services to provide emotional and practical support within the community

  • Children & Young People service

  • Self-development courses for women and children

  • Education, training services for professionals and the community

  • Partnership working with other supporting services
