Description

Jessicas Ghost - Folk Rock Band
Friday 2nd March - Band on stage 10pm.
FREE ADMISSION 6pm till 9pm - £3 After.

The Jessicas Ghost story began in 2005 when Merseyside singer-songwriter Emma Thorbinson (then Longworth) decided to embark on a new live music project. First on board was Wirral-based bassist Ian "Moxy" Moxham, soon to be followed by a multitude of talented musicians on instruments ranging from cello to accordion.

Over the years to follow, as the line-up changed and the band found its feet, it worked tirelessly on its song-writing style, superb musicianship and its renowned performance energy. The culmination of this hard work came in 2009 with the release of Jessicas Ghost's alt-folk debut album, The Winning Hand, and performances throughout the UK and in Europe. With two successful original albums, work underway for a third record, and a repertoire of covers now totaling in excess of three hours of music, Jessicas Ghost has gone from strength to strength in recent years. As well as performances at the original music venues in which Jessicas Ghost honed it's skills and, indeed, made it's name, the band now has a busy schedule of public and private covers gigs across the North West, and increasingly high-profile bookings including corporate entertainment for large companies like Talk Talk and support slots with artists ranging from Paloma Faith to Pixie Lott.
