A very happy new year to you all! I hope the Christmas period, though different for most, brought some much-needed peace and relaxation. Looking ahead to this year, there is of course still uncertainty around covid-restrictions, and our ability to host in-person events. Despite these challenges, we are keen to stay connected and continue to build our JET community.

In that spirit, we would like to wholeheartedly encourage any-and-all members to attend our AGM at the end of this month. It is a fantastic chance to get involved and direct the course of JETAA London for this year; whether that is through participation on the committee, event and idea suggestions, or just becoming acquainted with your fellow London JETs.

Before the AGM itself, you will receive another email with a list of people that have put themselves forward for officer roles within the committee. Whilst the Chair and Treasurer roles may only be filled by currently-serving committee members, the Vice-chair and Communications roles are available to apply for. If you’re interested, please email londonchair@jetaa.org.uk by the 15th January for more information on how to apply.The vote will be held amongst those members present at the AGM.
