Event description
Smoke On! Journey into a world of vintage jets at North Weald and join the Gnat Display Team and friends for an amazing high-octane weekend.

About this Event

SMOKE ON! Join us for a thrilling end-of-season weekender at North Weald Airfield for JetFest’19, between Friday 27th and Sunday 29th September. Following a similar theme to the successful inaugural JetFest event in 2018, JetFest’19 promises to be bigger and better; we will once again have a large number of vintage jets on display, some static and some flying. The weekend’s attending aircraft will include many stalwarts of the British airshow circuit, plus a number of surprises, some not seen before in the UK and some hardly ever seen in recent years. With such an array of ex-military jets, we are sure you won’t be disappointed. Talk to the pilots and get up close to these phenomenal machines. There will be a number of open cockpit opportunities, which should please adults and children alike. Photo opportunities will be rife and happy faces will be guaranteed.

This year we are teaming up with our friends at Aero Legends, which will add a new and different vintage dimension to the JetFest’19 event. The Aero Legends crew will be conducting Spitfire flying all weekend, plus there will be opportunities for our guests to fly in Harvards and Tiger Moths (subject to availability). Further information on the Aero Legends participation, plus a number of other twists for 2019, will be released shortly.

Stay tuned!
