Jewellery and Wirework at Gants Hill Library

A three week course (Saturdays from 21 January to 4 February) where you will be introduced to a range of skills needed for designing and crafting jewellery with specific application to bracelet and necklace making. Adults will learn the basic skills and knowledge that could inspire and enhance their career.
You will learn the following skills:
- Design and colour work
- Wire work
- Beading techniques
- Finishing techniques
- to understand and follow Health and Safety guidelines.
This three week workshop will be delivered by an experienced tutor that will offer you individual support and guidance and give you the opportunity to learn with your children. Delivered in partnership with Redbridge Institute.
This workshop is free. It is designed for adults to learn with children that are 5 years of age and over. Each adult can bring a maximum of 2 children who they will be responsible for.

If there are no free spaces available for you to book on this website, please contact the library as they might have some extra free tickets. Otherwise, please add your name to the waiting list and we will contact you if spaces become available.
