Jewellery Making [5 Week Course]

Dreaming of crafting your own unique sterling silver jewellery? Join local designer-maker Sophie Newbound for an inspiring 5-week Jewellery Making journey!

Sophie will expertly guide you through essential silversmithing techniques: piercing & annealing, soldering, texturing & filing, and polishing & finishing. During the first three weeks, you will master core skills by crafting your own ring. In the latter sessions, you will create your signature piece: choose from stacking rings, stud earrings, or a small pendant!

If you have some experience, you will explore advanced texturing, soldering, and finishing techniques, as well as granulation – adding delicate silver details.

Future courses will also cover delicate wirework for drop earrings and bracelets, and bezel setting for precious stones.

ABILITY: Beginners / Advanced Beginners.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: All metals and materials provided. (*larger designs may require additional metal which can be purchased direct from the tutor)

All tickets are non -refundable.

We are able to provide credit / transfer onto another course or workshop if there is two or more weeks’ notice.

Within a two-week period, under no circumstances can we transfer you onto another event. We have incurred material costs & committed numbers to the tutor.
