About this Event

Description

Join Kim Thomson at The Bristol Folk House in partnership with Bristol24/7 for a relaxed and creative evening of jewellery making. In this 3 hour session you will hand forge your own set of sterling silver stacking rings.

This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and those with previous experience, but if you have any questions or want to make sure this is the creative session for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the contact details at the bottom of this event listing.

Materials

The ticket price for this workshop includes use of all tools and materials, so that you can create a stunning set of 3 stacking rings from a choice of materials including sterling silver, brass, bronze and copper.

You’ll take home your original creations, plus handouts and supplier details will be provided allowing you to continue your new craft in the comfort of your own home if you wish.

Agenda

Silver stacking rings is a relaxed session where we’ll cover:

• A short introduction and examples

• Step by step instructions and expert tuition

• A chance to personalise your designs with a range of textures

• Learning the skill of silver soldering

• How to achieve a professional finish on your jewellery
