Jitterz, Crushed Out & Hanzo - The Shed Vault
Thu 20 April 2017, 20:00 – 23:00 BST
- JITTERZ -
Jitterz are the uncoolest band you'll ever meet. They're a weird hybrid of punky rock and roll, awkward chit-chat, snazzy shirts and bad dancing. Their live set packs a punch, and their songs will get stuck in your head. They're like The White Stripes on a bad day, after not sleeping for 20 days because they've been listening to The Clash and chatting to Andy Warhol.
- CRUSHED OUT -
From the U.S of A comes Crushed Out - husband-and-wife team Frankie Sunswept on guitar and Moselle Spiller on drums. Yet when they take the stage, they’re so much more than that -- they’re the sun and the moon, the push and pull of tides, the rumble of kinetic momentum balanced on the tip of a surfboard.
- HANZO -
The band take influences from 50/60s style rockabilly/ surf whilst mashing them up with crunchy rock riffs, comparing them to recent bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age and Slaves.
"Songs can go from having a tom tom heavy rockabilly beat with surf twang and then spiral in to a more straight up rock jam session" Hellacious Harmonies 2016
