This informal session is all about the music. Bring your young ones along for a great introduction to live music, as Joe and his fellow musicians play you the best in jazz and show you how it’s done – just like they’ve done at The Ivy Club the night before!
Perfect for aspiring young musicians, or families who want some quality musical time together. This really is some of the best jazz in town, and when you pair it with an espresso from our café, makes for the hippest family scene around.
On 26th March we welcome the fabulous Stacey Dawson with his various saxophones, clarinets and recorders for a woodwind jazz fest. Come and let your kids share Stacey’s journey from school recorder to professional jazz saxophonist as he demonstrates how much fun there is to be had with the most popular instrument in jazz. Joe Thompson will be leading the proceedings with Conservatoire favourite Robert Rickenberg helping out on double bass.

The Conservatoire is Southeast London's local arts centre. Every week, we provide a broad mix of music, art, drama and cultural classes to over 1,200 residents aged 0 to 100! As a registered charity, we also organise events and outreach work.
