Thinking about your next step after military service? Join John Deere online on Wednesday 3 December at 7pm and discover how your engineering, leadership, and problem-solving skills can power a career with one of the world’s most advanced machinery brands.

This free virtual event gives you a straight look at real jobs within John Deere’s UK and Ireland dealer network, the training pathway, and the support you will get from day one. You will hear directly from ex-forces personnel who have already made the jump and are now thriving in civilian roles.

Speakers include:
• Allan Cochran, Training Manager at John Deere
• James Evans, Division Customer Support Manager
• Graham Walker, former Royal Navy engineer and now Service Manager at Smallridge Bros
• Chris Giles, ex-military engineer now at Tallis Amos Group

Graham spent more than two decades in the Royal Navy working on nuclear submarines, manufacturing parts at sea and keeping mission-critical systems running under pressure. Now he leads a John Deere dealership workshop team and says the Military Hiring Programme gave him the route and confidence to succeed.

Whether you are still serving, going through resettlement, or recently left the forces, this session will show you what is possible. You will learn how the programme works, what roles are available, and how your skillset fits into a fast-moving, tech-driven industry.
