For over a decade, Wakefield-based John Settle has been a vibrant force on the UK jazz scene. Influenced by legends such as Art Blakey, Max Roach, Milt Jackson, Cal Tjader, and Gary Burton, his dynamic blend of drums and vibraphone has taken him across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. He has performed with icons including Dennis Rollins, Greg Abate, the Glenn Miller UK Orchestra, and New York Brass Band, supported George Benson and Van Morrison, and even appeared twice on ITV’s The Last Leg. His deep passion for Latin music has led him to study in Brazil and front several of his own acclaimed projects.
