Event description
Join us in London as part of the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice! Saturday 6 November from 11.00am

About this event

CAFOD will be joining the millions of people across the world who will be out marching for climate justice on Saturday 6th November. As world leaders gather for the COP26 climate talks, we will be marching in London to make sure we raise our voice and let them know that urgent action is needed to keep global temperatures within 1.5 degrees of warming, and to ensure that sufficient support is provided for the countries and communities who have done the least to cause the current climate emergency.

Join us on Saturday 6 November at St Mary, Moorfields in Central London from 11am where we will gather with other CAFOD supporters before we join the march to ensure that our call for climate action is not ignored!

Wear something green!

In the spirit of our own ecological conversion, we will not be mass producing t-shirts and other merchandise for this mobilisation. However, we do encourage you to wear something green or re-purpose an old CAFOD t-shirt, or your green ‘Walk for Water’ shoelaces, if you have them. If you’d like to get creative, feel free to bring your own home-made placards and banners as we call for climate justice on the streets!

Organiser CAFOD

Organiser of Join us at the London Global Day of Action for Climate Justice on 6 Nov

CAFOD is the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, and part of Caritas International. Across the world we bring hope and compassion to poor communities, standing side by side with them to end poverty and injustice. Because we work through the local Church, we can reach people and places that others can’t.
