Our procurement policy and service specifications are changing.
You are invited to take part in a series of vital engagement events as part of a joint strategic review of residential care for working-age adults. This review is being led by ICS partners across Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC), Nottingham City Council (NC), and the Integrated Care Board (ICB).
This is your opportunity to influence how care is commissioned and delivered across Nottinghamshire. Your insights and experiences are essential to shaping our new procurement mechanism, revised service specifications, and future contracts – all set to be formally tendered in 2026.
Our shared ambition is to:
- Deliver more personalised, outcome-based care and support
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and reduce isolation
- Support individuals to achieve meaningful outcomes and move towards a home of their own
- Standardise commissioning approaches across ICS partners
- Ensure value for money
- Strengthen KPI and outcome monitoring
These engagement sessions are your one chance to directly influence the direction of procurement policy and service design. We want to hear from you – your voice matters.
We’ll share the context behind this work, provide early insights, and most importantly, listen to your views to help shape our plans. We want these changes to happen with you, not just to you.
Please come along and join in the conversation.
