Joints and Spine as a GP - an Orthopaedic and Rheumatology perspective

Network Locum is pleased to announce its first CPD event in association with the Westbourne Centre, the West Midlands Hospital and the Birmingham Medical Institute.
Led by Dr Aman Arora, this event focusses on joints and the spine in primary care from an Orthopaedic and Rheumatology perspective.
This primary care-led event promises to be an interesting and informative evening, kicked off with complementary drinks, a buffet, and a chance to network with speakers and fellow GPs.
Dr Fazal Khattak, a consultant rheumatologist and honorary senior lecturer appointed as consultant rheumatologist at the Sandwell and West Brimingham Trust in 2000. His clinical base is Sandwell Hospital where he runs four rheumatology clinics each week. He has an interest in the management of connective tissue diseases and runs a monthly specialist clinic at Sandwell Hospital.
Dr Rajpal Nandra graduated at St Bart’s and The Royal London in 2005. After completing General Practice training he returned to secondary care in 2010. He is currently an academic orthopaedic trainee in Birmingham with interests in bone mineralisation and injectable antibiotic delivery devices at University of Birmingham.
The programme for the evening is as follows:
6:30pm: Arrival & registration, buffet & drinks
7.00pm: Dr. Fazal Khattak - Polyarticular joint disease: a GP approach
8:15pm: Dr Rajpal Nandra - Back and Spine Problems
