What do you really know about sickle cell? Beyond being a genetic blood disorder, it is a lived reality that affects thousands of people — especially in African and Caribbean communities. Yet, awareness, understanding, and support often remain too low.

At Jollof Nights™, we believe in turning barbershops into safe spaces for open conversations that matter. This session will bring community voices and NHS professionals together to explore:

  • The impact of sickle cell on health and daily life
  • How we can better support people living with the condition
  • Why awareness and early conversations save lives
