We are pleased to announce a series of 2 virtual events run by the amazing Jon Biddle. These sessions will centre around developing Reading for Pleasure in your classroom.
Jon Biddle is an experienced primary school teacher and English lead. He's the coordinator of the national Patron of Reading initiative, an advisor for Empathy Lab and a member of the UKLA National Council.
Jon is a real advocate of RfP and has a wealth of experience in engaging children in the love of reading.
His sessions will explore RFP pedagogy, social reading environments, reading aloud, independent reading and book talk and the areas of RFP: teachers as readers and how teachers can learn more about children's reading practices and developing reading communities within school.
