Jonathan Worthy and the Eclectic Lite Trio

Bill Sneddon (Clarinet and Saxophone), David Gledhill (Piano) & Julia Boulton (Violin) bring a selection of light classical music.

Bill has played with big bands in dance halls since the 70's, including playing with Bob Mitzer at the sage Gateshead and Voice of the North contemporary Jazz Orchestra. He worked as a woodwind tutor for many years alongside setting up a very successful saxophone repair service.

Julia graduated from Leeds University in1982 and moved to the North East in 1984. Since then she has worked as a freelance violin and viola player in the region and taught class and instrumental music for North Tyneside and the Tees Valley Music Services.

David studied music at Birmingham University and then as a postgraduate at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He moved to the north east in 1974 to take up a post of Lecturer in Music at Newcastle College. Now semi-retired he continues his musical activities accompanying, arranging and having fun with the trio.
