Overview

Publication is a crucial element in the training of postgraduate students. Josie Dixon (Lucian Consulting: www.lucianconsulting.com) is a highly skilled specialist in international publishing, with a world-class reputation as a trainer for postgraduate students and publishers, having been a leading practitioner in the publishing industry herself. This workshop will concentrate on developing Impact and Research Communication Skills to disseminate specialist research outside their discipline. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Who is this training for?

This event is part of a series of sessions designed for postgraduates at any stage in their research, helping them think about how to shape their career profile and the challenge of publishing their work.

Preparation

Participants will be required to provide a title and paragraph summarising their research in advance of the session in order to take part.
