Journey into Yoga & Meditation; a Queer-friendly sharing of practice

About this Event
Please feel welcome to journey with us to share Journeying, Yoga and Meditation practice on a regular weekly basis; and for different skill levels.
This sharing will be basic level, approximately 1.5 hour; the yoga poses will be clearly explained and we will end with 20 minutes of meditation.
-You will be provided the zoom link when you book on this site, and attendees will be provided with the password prior to the event.
-Participants will be muted upon entry and for most of the sharing but there will be a couple of moments for questions.
This is a mutual aid direct action, and is presented on a pay-what-you-can-basis, but no one is turned away for lack of funds. Provisional outline of the sharing:
-Begin by chanting Om 3 times
-Draw a Tarot card to inspire practice
-followed by breathing exercises
-listening to the sound of the drum with some brief journeying guidance
-reconnect with the breath
-Qs before Yoga
-a series of approximately 12 yoga poses, including forward and backward bending, twists, inversions and balancing poses
-reconnect to the breath
-Qs following Yoga
-brief meditation guidance and Qs before meditation
-meditation of approximately 20 minutes
-meditation ends with drumming
-we end the session by chanting Om 3 x again
