JOURNEY OF EAST LONDON’S DEAF COMMUNITY

Deaf People’s Changing Employment Experiences (2000-2010)

A new project supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund The project will help reveal the little-known history of the impacts of the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 on deaf and hard of hearing people - what life was like during the first decade of the 21st Century in accessing employment opportunities and what positive outcomes resulted from the legislation.
