✨ The Joyful Body ✨

This women’s monthly movement exploration is a space to drop into your most authentic self in the gentle hold of a community of dancers.

My story

Born from a deep personal journey through surviorship and postpartum darkness, The Joyful Body practice became my lifeline. It is now my deepest honour to share it with you.

This dedicated movement space is a monthly experience designed for women to explore the full spectrum of emotion - from grief to joy - in a safe, trauma-informed space. With no choreography and beautiful music, we create an intentional space to step into your most authentic self, softly loosening the layers and experiencing yourself unfold. Together, through somatic practices, partner/group work (always optional), and a live vocal sound bath to soothe our nervous system, we nourish our spirit and reconnect to our bodies - a bold and joyful life force. We close in ceremony with reflection, ancestral reverence, herbal tea, and the hold of community.

This space is for you if you’re seeking:

🦋 A women-led, inclusive space (Queer, Black & neurodivergent facilitated)

🦋 Deep emotional release through movement

🦋No steps to learn - gorgeous music

🦋Honouring of indigenous and ancestral wisdom

🦋Artistic journal prompts to awaken clarity and inner guidance

🦋 A safe container for powerful consent-based group/partner work

🦋Soulful closing circle and nourishing rituals with herbal tea

What to Expect:

  • Gentle breath & somatic grounding
  • Root & Rise movement wave
  • Live vocal sound bath for deep rest
  • Creative journaling - artistic prompts
  • Ceremonial closing circle
