Joined Up Care Derbyshire is supporting this exciting programme which is free and available to all staff across Derbyshire. We aim to improve the quality of care provided in Derbyshire, by supporting staff to have more effective conversations, which focus on the individual and what matters to them.


What’s the training about?

Core Quality Conversations training is an innovative approach to improving communication skills. We aim to provide a fun safe place to enhance learning and practice new skills.

• understand the impact of health inequalities and how to address them

• enhance your listening skills

• improve your use of open questions

• facilitate strengths-based approaches, learn about influencing skills and how to go from giving advice, to supporting someone to generate their own solutions


What’s the training like?

• this is an interactive online training over Microsoft Teams

• you need access to a computer with a webcam and microphone

• groups are small and includes time in virtual breakout rooms for you to practice your new skills


How to book a place?

• places fill up fast so use the red button opposite to reserve a spot

• booking confirmation will be sent via Eventbrite

• a calendar invite to join the training will be sent separately by email within 5 working days. This will contain any additional information.
