Joined Up Care Derbyshire is supporting this exciting free programme to all health, care and VCSE staff across Derbyshire.

What’s the training about?

This spotlight session on Supporting Behaviour Change will provide a fun safe place to learn the theory about behaviour change and practice specific skills to support it. The session covers:

What behaviour is and what it isn’t.
How health inequalities can impact on behaviour.
How we can use our QC skills to introduce conversations about Behaviour Change.
Exploring barriers and enablers to behaviour change in a QC way.
How we can use our QC skills to support people to change their behaviour.

What’s the training like?

• It is an interactive online training over Microsoft Teams.

• You need access to a computer with a webcam and microphone.

• Groups are small and includes time in virtual breakout rooms for you to practice your new skills.

How do I book a place?

• Places fill up fast so use the red button opposite to reserve a spot.

• Booking confirmation will be sent via Eventbrite.

• A calendar invite to join the training will be sent separately by email within 5 working days. This will include any other information you might need to know.
