Come along to our after work business mixer on Thursday 21st July to help us celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Working For Carers - a regional business community of employers committed to supporting the carers in their workforce.

This networking event is open to all - members and non-members alike.

Join us from 5.30pm for open networking over wine and canapes, followed by a short presentation from our guest speaker: Angela Protheroe, Associate Solicitor at Goughs Solicitors.

Angela has extensive experience in all aspects of employment law and employment litigation. Angela acts for SMEs, national and international companies and third sector organisations, undertaking all aspects of tribunal and non-contentious work.

1 in 9 employees is caring for someone who is elderly, disabled, or seriously ill. In the current economic climate it is an important time to retain skilled workers rather than recruiting and retraining new staff. Angela will be talking to us about why ‘Carers in your workforce matter and are a valuable asset in your business’; as well as discussing some of the legal implications of employing Carers and how you can make it work in, and for, your business.

The event will finish at 7pm.
