Event description

Description

The monthly Innovation Breakfast Talk (formerly NETPark Net breakfast) networking sessions are informal, informative, networking opportunities designed to help Science, Engineering and Technology companies network with each other. These are sometimes held at NETPark, and other times on the location of hosting companies. Why not come and share a coffee and breakfast pastries with us?

From Dad Checking to Sexing Falcons - Not Your Conventional Biotech Company

Complement Genomics, a DNA testing and analysis service laboratory based at the Durham Genome Centre in Lanchester, has grown through their innovative approach to technology and market development. While their expertise is firmly in the field of genetics and molecular biology, they have been quick in responding and adapting to the needs of the market successfully. They also carry out their own research programmes, most notably in the area of biomarker assay development and validation.

Co-founder, Louise Allcroft, will be sharing the journey in developing their business including how they came to tapping into the very lucrative falconry market in the Middle East. Delegates will also have the opportunity to tour their labs as part of the event.
