Insaan Arts Presents Our First Ever Pop-Up Night -Jumeraat Jaam (Thursday Jam)

A night of timeless ghazals with one of Pakistan’s most soulful voices. From the legendary Shamchaurasi Gharana, Faizan carries a 500-year-old musical lineage, grandson of Ustad Salamat Ali Khan and son of Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan.

What to expect:

• An evening of ghazals & tributes to legends: Ghulam Ali, Jagjit Singh, Mehdi Hassan.

• Faizan Ali Khan performing classics such as Ranjish Hi Sahi, Rafta Rafta, Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa, and more.

• Open Mic slot — join in, jam, and share your voice.

• As always, giving you the authentic tradition of ghazal in a very untraditional space — the informal back room of an English pub.

Custom of Nazrana:

In keeping with South Asian tradition, audiences are invited to offer a nazrana (a token of appreciation, often money placed before the artist) as a gesture of respect for their art.
