The Importance of Mentorship and Building Networks

Networking and the right mentor can play a crucial role in helping you land the right job or to help you in your career advancement. Through your professional network, you can learn about job opportunities, share best practices with colleagues or connect with someone who can help mentor you.

Speaker Bio:

Victoria Denoon has a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen’s University Belfast, and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Victoria spent fifteen years in the US before returning to Belfast in 2018. She was previously Director of Academic Communications and Events at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Victoria is currently Head of Visitor Experience at W5, Northern Ireland’s award winning Science and Discovery Center, and President of the Queen’s University Belfast Graduates’ Association with former experience co-chairing the Irish Network Boston.
