HR Forum: The workforce that WORKS for your business

Workforce agility is a necessity of our time, but which of the many approaches is best for you? What are the legal and tax implications? And why do some organisations get it so wrong? SA Law’s June HR Forum for senior HR professionals has the answers.

Many organisations fear they aren’t agile enough, particularly with the uncertainty of Brexit looming. Those that have made the move are losing confidence in practices such as zero hours, which have gained extensive bad press over recent years.

SA Law’s June HR Forum will focus on these concerns and more, giving you the opportunity to find out how agile practices can be used effectively and compliantly.

Topics that will be covered include:

  • The business case for the various employment statuses
  • Choosing the best status, and capitalising on the benefits
  • Scaling a workforce up and down in line with the needs of your organisation
  • Assessing the case for overtime versus new hires
  • Transfer of undertakings (TUPE) issues that can arise.

As always, SA Law’s HR Forums give you the opportunity to put your questions to the panel. We will finish with our customary networking lunch, where you can talk one-to-one with our specialists and other HR professionals in an informal environment.
