About this event

When booking a ticket, you agree to abide by the following guidelines. Please click the link for the club risk assessment.

HEALTH DECLARATION

By registering to attend this BBDRC session at BARC, you are agreeing to make a COVID-19 Health Declaration for your junior athlete who you are booking onto a training session. You also confirm that you are the parent/guardian or named responsible adult listed on your child’s membership form and therefore have the knowledge and authority to make this declaration for your child:

• Your child does not have any COVID-19 symptoms

• Your child has not received a positive test in the last seven days

• Your child is not waiting on a Coronavirus test result

• That no member of your household has COVID-19 symptoms or is waiting on a test result

• And that to the best of your knowledge your child has not been in close contact with anyone who is exhibiting Coronavirus symptoms or who has tested positive.

Any member or participant who has attended a session and subsequently tested positive for COVID must notify the club and completes the UKA COVID-19 tracking form

Junior athletes and family members are expected to maintain social distancing at all times when at BARC, and to keep themselves, fellow athletes and coaches safe by adhering to the safety advice and guidance given. If it is your child’s first session please ensure you explain the information in this booking form to them so they know what to expect and what is expected of them.

NOTE: If you are booking more than one ticket, please book them as separate bookings; this will allow you to declare the athlete's name for the session, and more importantly, individual tickets may be cancelled without removing all your tickets!

When booking a ticket, you agree to that both you and your child will abide by the following guidelines. Please click the link for the club risk assessment.

Booking

When you book on you confirm that your child has not been unwell in the last 7 days or in contact with someone with coronavirus in the past 14 days. Attending coached sessions is at your own risk. Please refer to government guidelines on high risk groups or those who are shielding or living with someone who is shielding.

All sessions are planned to comply with social distancing and athletes MUST comply with coach instructions at all times, in particular maintaining 2 metres social distancing. If an athlete subsequently tests positive for C-19, unless we can be sure that social distancing has been rigorously adhered to, the whole group may be required to self-isolate for the required period.

NOTE: If you are booking more than one ticket, please book them as separate bookings; this will allow you to declare the athlete's name for the session, and more importantly, individual tickets may be cancelled without removing all your tickets!

Cancellations

When you book, you commit to your child attending the session. If they cannot attend you must cancel your ticket via the booking system as we are operating a waiting list. If you do not attend a booked session, or cancel at short notice, you will go to the bottom of the list for the next session (this is to ensure a fair chance for everyone to attend).

Arrival

Please use transport which complies with social distancing rules e.g. only share a car with members of your household. On arrival please park sensibly (leaving space around you) and wait in your car until your allocated coach comes to the field gate.

Your child should then go to their coach maintaining a 2m distance from anyone else. If parents need to urgently speak to a coach they may do so at the start of the session again observing social distancing. No membership forms or other paperwork will be taken on the night.

Athletes need to bring a named water bottle and a bag with any essential kit/medication in it. Equipment/water must not be shared.

Payment

BBDRC has kindly agreed to waive training fees in the short term. Longer term you will need a cashless payment card and we will advise how registration will operate.

Training session - Athletes

Athletes will be given a cone where they can place their kit/water.

All sessions are planned to comply with social distancing and athletes must comply with coach instructions at all times in particular maintaining 2m gap

Wherever possible we will try and allocate athletes to their usual peer group but this may not always be possible depending on numbers.

Training session – Parents/Carers

Parents/carers must not leave BARC until athletes are signed in. If parents/carers wish to remain at BARC for the duration of the session they should remain socially distanced from other households and are not permitted on the field.

No one other than athletes, coaches and welfare officers are permitted onto the field.

Toilets, sheds and canopy are all out of bounds and nothing should be touched including gates.

If you choose to go offsite you must be contactable on your mobile phone in case of emergency.

After Your Session

Please be on time to collect your child.

Parents/carers must come to the field gate to sign children out. Please only come to the gate once you see your child’s group approaching the gate to ensure social distancing is maintained.

Please refrain from socialising in the car park after your session. BBDRC kindly asks that you return to your car and depart from BARC.

On Site Facilities

The sheds and canopy are all out of bounds and nothing should be touched including gates.

Toilet facilities will be available for emergency use only for junior athletes and are unavailable to other family members.
