Junior Fencing Classes: Unleash Your Inner Fencer!

Ready to dive into the exciting world of fencing?

Our 6-week program offers junior fencers (ages 15 and under) an incredible opportunity to learn the ropes of this dynamic sport. Each 1-hour session, held on Thursday evenings at 7 PM, is designed to be engaging, educational, and most importantly, fun!

What's Included:

All necessary fencing equipment is provided, so you don't need to worry about a thing – just show up and fence!

Benefit from top-tier coaching in all three fencing disciplines: Épée, Foil, and Sabre. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping you develop your skills and passion for fencing.

As a bonus, you'll receive a trial club fencing session in the 7th week to experience the thrill of a real club environment.

All sessions will take place in the Founders Hall at the University of Bath

What to bring?

Please bring: tracksuit trousers, clean indoors trainers, and water (water fountain for refills avaialbe on site)

Does fencing hurt/is it dangerous?

Fencing is a safe sport with minimal risk of injury. Protective gear and controlled strikes minimize the chance of harm.

Do I need to be fit?

You do not need to be fit to start fencing. Fencing itself will help you get fitter. We will include fitness training in beginner sessions to build strength and power.

Do I need to buy any kit?

No, we will provide that for you!
