Film Screening at the Tannahill Centre

Join us for a special screening of 'JUNKIE' — a powerful, raw exploration of addiction, poverty, and survival in Scotland. Filmed in Glasgow, the documentary humanises those struggling with addiction, breaking stereotypes and sparking urgent conversations about trauma, justice, and recovery. With first-hand perspectives from people with lived experience, this thought-provoking film has been described as “eye-opening,” “very emotive and educational,” and “so relevant to the crisis we are sadly in.” The screening will be followed by an open discussion with the filmmakers, offering a unique opportunity to engage in honest conversation about stigma, resilience, and community.

Light refreshments will be available on the night. While tickets are free, a collection will be uplifted in aid of Ferguslie Community Church Drop-In — a locally led, recovery-focused community provision based in the Tannahill Centre.
