Event Details

Starting and finishing from Broadclyst Victory Hall, join the training ride where Ride Leaders from Execel @ Cycling will be leading a 50km ride along part of the Jurassic Classic route to give you a flavour of what's in store later in the year.

Starting at 10am, you'll meet other cyclists and the Ride Leaders, before saddling up and hitting the roads. The Ride Leaders will be setting a pace of ~18kph (11mph) and they will be on hand to guide you round and offer any help you need.

The route is available here - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6594122

Please note, it's free to take part in the training ride but you must register in advance to ensure there are enough Ride Leaders on the day. The Ride Leaders will be there to guide you and assist with any mechanical problems, but please ensure you are fully equipped and bring at least one spare inner tube in the event of a puncture.

You don't have to sign up to the Jurassic Classic to take part in this training ride. However for further information and to book your place on the main Jurassic Classic event, visit jurassicclassic.org.uk

For further information about this training ride or the Jurassic Classic, contact the Sporting Events team by emailing cycling@prostatecanceruk.org or call 020 3310 7312.
