JUST EDUCATION IN ASSOCIATION WITH PIXELEX FILM WORK SHOP

This introduction to video-making covers the whole process of video production from the initial idea through to a final product. The course is designed for those wishing to make that first step or personal development into video production, and runs over six weeks. Students will work in two groups to produce a short film.
WHO IS SHOOTING VIDEO AIMED AT? Shooting is aimed at young people 12-18 years. The course looks at the whole filmmaking process in a holistic way, rather than going into over complicated detail on specific topics! The learning is very hands-on and practical, because learners will be guided to make a narrative based digital video production during the course.
The trainers will be very supportive and guide learners through this technical and creative process, (including shoot and planning, camera technique, editing, and lighting). It will help learners to understand the basic concepts of film making. As part of the process, students will film short scenes and put it together to produce short films. The content will also cover developing skills such as positive attitude to task; positive learning behaviour; teamwork; and problem solving. It is motivational & Inspirational therein lies its strength as all learners are empowered & inspired.
