This workshop is designed to help senior leaders master assertive communication in high-stakes situations.

Drawing from Susie Ashfield’s Just F**king Say It and Kim Scott’s Radical Candor, participants will learn how to say no with authority, disagree without causing conflict, and give clear, valuable, and effective feedback.

The session is interactive, practical, and offers an opportunity to share experiences from real-world leadership challenges.

Part 1: How to Say No

Objective: Learn to set boundaries, say no with clarity, and protect priorities without guilt.

• A guide to difficult conversations

Part 2: How to Disagree

Objective: Learn to challenge ideas and offer dissent with clarity and respect.

• Disagreeing without damaging relationships

• Choosing your moment and your words

Part 3: How to Give Feedback

Based on Kim Scott’s “Radical Candor”

Objective: Deliver feedback that is both direct but caring. Learn to build a culture of open communication.

• Ruinous empathy vs. radical candor

• Feedback as a leadership responsibility

Meet the Facilitator:

Susie Ashfield is a Speech Coach dedicated to helping industry leaders, corporate executives, and public figures look good, sound good, and feel great about public speaking.

She has been extensively featured on BBC Radio 2,Forbes Magazine,Elle,Telegraph,The Times,Daily Mail,Independentand theNew York Post, and in numerous high-profile podcasts. Susie has amassed over 1 million views on TikTok and is a regular on the speaker circuit, having given talks on stages worldwide, from Adidas to Rolls Royce, and at academic institutions, from Kings College London to the University of Cambridge.

Susie lives in Notting Hill, London and her first book, ‘Just F**king Say It’, is set to be published 21st May, 2025.
