About the event:
Join us for an informal, practical and highly interactive workshop during which you’ll
discover your own personality ‘type’ by using the elegantly simple, yet powerfully perceptive framework of Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality inventory based on the theories of Carl Jung and is the best known and most trusted personality assessment available. A tool for self discovery, MBTI is powerful, versatile and provides the foundations for a deep understanding of personal motivations and group interactions. It can be applied to multiple personal and business issues, and revisited over time as new challenges arise.
The Indicator is non-judgemental and allows people to gain an understanding of their differences. It is widely used by individuals and organisations worldwide for a variety of applications, but in particular for greater self-awareness and supporting teams in working effectively together.
Understanding your ‘type’ will, amongst other things, improve your level of self awareness and enhance your leadership and communication skills.
During the workshop we’ll use MBTI to explore how your ‘type’ may be expressed in an organisational setting, highlighting your own working style and preferences in the workplace. The improved self-awareness resulting from understanding your MBTI type (and that of your colleagues) can be applied to several areas of personal development, for example;
• Change management
• Decision making
• Conflict management
MBTI provides you with tool to better understand the people you work and interact with on a daily basis. This enjoyable and interactive session will help you to analyse your behaviour and identify how to improve communication with different personality types to your own.
Our session will be informal, interactive, and FUN!
