Join the River Exe Writers for some short writing exercises, drinks and joy! We meet on the second floor of Pixy's in Exeter and do a few short pieces of writing together, followed by a chance to read out our work (optional) and discuss writing and life!
If you want to bring along any shortish pieces of your work for some helpful critique, please do so!

River Exe Writers began in 2016 in Exeter. We are a writers collective based in Devon. We run workshops, regular ‘Just Write’ Wednesday evenings and ‘Read and Share’ Saturday afternoons, where we listen to each others’ work and offer supportive criticism.

We do two 15-minute writing exercises with the opportunity to share our work. If we have time, we do another bonus 10-minute session with a unique constraint.
Not at all. There is no pressure to read out.
If you write anything, you ARE a writer! Everyone is at a different stage of their writing journey, and it would be a pleasure to be part of yours.
