Jyll Bradley New Films
Event Information
About this event
Jyll Bradley’s films arise from her sculptures. As she puts it ‘my sculptures become the framework through which narratives unfold: they are things in themselves, but also invitations for gatherings of people and ideas'.
Here, we screen new films that emerge from Bradley's collaborations with other artists, musicians and performers, responses to the invitation that her sculptures put out in the world. The artist will introduce her films at both screenings. Films shown will include her most recent work M.R., a coming-of-age story exploring childhood adoption, creativity and identity.
Content warning: The film M.R. is about adoption and contains mild swearing.
