Event description

KALC is pleased to announce its annual Planning Conference for 2019. Come and join us at Lenham Community Centre for a morning full of the latest developments and ideas in the sector with informative and professional speakers. We will, as usual, provide a buffet lunch that is included in the price of your ticket.

This year will include formal planning training. We are delighted that Lindsay Frost the KALC Planning Consultant will be presenting P101 and P111 our foundation courses for Local Councils on planning development control. Members should be aware that we hope that the conclusion 2018 saw a further addition to our expanding portfolio of planning courses: a new third level double module course P301 which builds on P111 & P111 (a perquisite for P301) and will be of interest to anyone who has also completed P201 (our double module on Neighbourhood Planning). This course will look at problem solving and the higher end delivery of high-quality planning and will be based around key topics and working more effectively including using technology & smart planning. Further to the successful pilot look out for P301 as we roll it out in late 2019!
