About this event

The ‘FIRST EVER UK Kalyanamalai Programme and a highly popular Tamil Pattimandram Event’ led by Pattimandram Stalwart Padmashri Mr. Solomon Pappaya & his Team, hosted by the United Kingdom Association of Tamils ( UKAT).

This ‘Mega Tamil Festival’ is celebrated in the presence of Mr Raja & Mrs Barathi Bhaskar who are highly acclaimed speakers from India and other highly acclaimed speakers from the UK.

A highly entertaining music festival including ‘Pattuku Pattu’ ( Sing along) competition will also be held by the well renowned Ms Rathika Bala of London & Popular Srilankan Radio RJ Mahesh on the morning of the event.

A solo singing competition by highly skilled singers across the UK who will be competing for the crown of ‘BEST UK TAMIL SINGER, UKAT 2022’ on the same day of the event.

This mega event is hosted by the Organising Team of United Kingdom Association of Tamils ( UKAT) based here in the UK. UKAT collaboratively is working with many acclaimed UK Tamil organisations, Associations and Schools who promote many cultural, communal and charitable events across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

The highly popular media productions in Tamilnadu, SUN Television coming from India will be ‘live shooting’ the event which will be broadcasting the Pattimandram event and the snippets of the singing across Tamilnadu between January- March 2023.

SUN Television Network, the ‘most popular’ media giant has a record number of viewership who will be keen to watch this highly celebrated event being held in the UK.

This National UK Tamil Cultural Mela will be held on the 19th November 2022 ( Saturday) at the Historic City of Oxford.
