Step into the world of Kamishibai, the traditional Japanese art of paper theatre storytelling. Enjoy a lively performance of Japanese folktales, brought to life through illustrated storyboards and live narration. This event is funded by ACE, The GB Sasakawa Foundation and New Earth Theatre.

Aya Nakamura is a multi-award-winning theatre maker specialising in puppetry. The breadth of her experience includes working as a puppeteer, puppet maker, and creator of performances featuring puppets.
