Description

About the workshop

Using colourful bandanas, try your hand at traditional Indian Kantha stitch in this drop in workshop. Kantha is a hand embroidery technique which uses basic running stitch and so is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced stitchers. Take inspiration from traditional Indian embroideries and beautiful embroidered bandanas within the collection to create your own piece to take home.
Whilst this is a free activity, normal Hall admission prices apply. The activity is managed on a drop in basis and will be limited to available spaces within the activity area.

There is free parking for visitors, approximately 150 yards from the Hall, with mobilty access closer to the Hall.

There is a National Trust tea room (open from 11am) and picnic area.
