Kat Rees is a Welsh bilingual jazz singer whose captivating voice and soulful interpretations have earned her a place in the hearts of jazz enthusiasts. A regular on BBC Radio Cymru, Kat has also been prominently featured on BBC Radio 3’s "Soweto Kinch: ‘Round Midnight" program. ITV Wales featured her debut Live EP with The Siglo Section as the first original Welsh language Big Band tunes to exist. Tomos Williams, in an article for BBC Cymru Fyw, described her as, "Imagine Ella Fitzgerald and her orchestra singing in Welsh and you're not that far off." Known for blending traditional jazz with contemporary influences, Kat continues to enchant audiences both on stage and on air.
