Description

Following our second successful Kaya Festival at Margam Park, we are very excited to announce we have provisionally secured Margam Park for a third year running on August 4 / 5 / 6 2017!!! Campers will be welcomed on Thursday 3rd August 2017 but full details to be firmed up.

We do hope you will join us for another spectacular event!

Set in the stunning surroundings of Margam Park, South Wales, the Kaya Festival brings a fresh twist to the traditional music festival.

Born in Wales, home to the world! Kaya Festival has an ethos of diverse, fun and family friendly, providing a spectacular array of music, arts and entertainment from across the globe! From toddlers to adults, this truly is the perfect festival for all ages, with something for everyone.

From Reggae to Rock; from Ska to Soul; from Funk to a little Funky House; from Africa to Wales!

The Kaya Festival brings you an eclectic range of music across 4 stages, bringing world class headline Acts. Kaya Festival has seen Craig Charles, Asian Dub Foundation, The Selecter, Don Letts, Tinchy Strider, Mykal Rose, The Brand New Heavies, Judge Jules, and so many more, take prime spots on main stage.

There is a full weekend of action packed fun for all of the family, whether you want to learn to walk on stilts or play the drums, or maybe you are in need of a pamper or some healing. You might want some great story telling for the children or for the kids to learn how to plant, grow and sow. Or you might simply want to dance the days away!

Kaya Festival are proud of the community work we support too and are avid supporters of Hope Malawi UK and Youth Cymru. In partnership with Youth Cymru, Kaya champion young people with their very own Kaya Youth Zone - Kaya Introducing Stage, providing a platform for young musicians to perform and showcase their work! Similar is done to promote local unsigned talent too, with Kaya partnering up with Beltane Buzz to host an evening of Welsh musicians at this year's festival, and Propeller Management bringing a vast array of musicians from Sheffield!

We hope you join us for a weekend of diverse music and entertainment year after year!
