Kayak Bus Adventure from Battersea to Greenwich!

Go with the flow. Kayak Bus is a one-way trip from West London to Greenwich. This is a 100% sight-seeing trip, passing all of London’s top landmarks, such as the Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Bankside and the Globe, St Pauls, South Bank, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Lambeth Palace, Mi6 and many others, all from the seat of a kayak. The journey time is a good 3 hours and is with the tidal flow making the trip suitable for all abilities including complete beginners. If you wish to book, we run a trip east to west and west to east on the same day; just chose the route you wish!
We use stable double kayaks with rudders. All kit is provided and the kayaks are staffed by professional guides. Please note our trips are for adults only unless it’s a bespoke family trip where we allow children to participate over 9 years old. London Kayak Company is a British Canoeing Approved Paddle Sports Provider and compliant with the Port of London Authority. If you need more information just contact us. We run at least 1 trip per month. If the date advertised is not suitable, please get back to us as we may be able to do a bespoke booking.

Your trip will finish in Greenwich close to the Old Naval College.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring comfortable clothes to paddle in, dress for the weather including a pair of training shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Bring a light snack to keep your energy levels up and a bottle of water to stay hydrated. We supply all equipment including good quality waterproofs. Also bring a complete change of clothes.
Please note that we may need to contact you from time to time with important information via email. If you have booked a trip or an event with us, please ensure that you provide us with an up-to-date email address* and check your inbox regularly for any important updates, as you may miss out on critical information ( such as change of venue, time changes, etc.) or might end up missing out on the event altogether! Please note that we will not be able to process any refunds, should this happen.
We also ask that you add our email address, firstname.lastname@example.org, to your contact list, in order to ensure that any vital information we send to you, doesn't get sent to your spam or junk inbox. For further information please refer to section 2.3 of our Term & Conditions.
*Please provide us with these details at least 2 working days before the event and during our office hours.

Our lines are open Monday to Friday 10 am - 6 pm and we will get back to you within 3 working days. Please note that messages sent through any other channels may not be picked up.
What's the refund policy?
As you know the group operates a no refund policy due to most of the costs having to be paid in advance. However we understand that sometimes things come up and there is nothing you can do, you just have to cancel.
In this case we would be happy to allow you to sell your place to one of your friends. No direct swaps will be accepted though, so your friend needs to buy the place directly from us and only then we will process a refund to you. No one will be admitted on the trip, unless they pay directly to us.
To make sure we know that the swap will be taking place please email us before your friend signs up and let us know their name and when they will be making the payment. Please include the information about the trip as with over 60 upcoming events and almost 8,000 members we are getting hundreds of emails per day, so we need the correct information to identify it.
Please note that if you forget to let us know before your friend signs up, the swap will be invalid and will be treated as any other sale. Once the payment is done by them, please email us the details of original transaction (so that it can be found in the bank account/paypal account) and where should we be sending refund to.
Admin fee of 10% (minimum £3.50) applies to all refunds. Paypal fees are non refundable. The refund will be processed within 5 working days of the trip the latest.
